Can I play music on the boat?

Yes! Duffy boats are equipped with wireless Bluetooth speakers.

Does the canopy come off the boat?

No, The overhead canopy must remain on the boat at all times, but we can raise the side window panels to feel the breeze and enjoy the weather! There is a spacious rear sun deck for those looking to be in the sun.

Will I get cold on the boat?

Duffy electric boats have full window enclosures that can be rolled up or down depending on what temperature you feel comfortable with. If you keep all the windows down and zipped up, the boat stays insulated and warm.

Are there bathrooms on the boat?

There are no bathrooms on the boat. We recommend using the restrooms before you embark. There are restrooms located inside Tommy’s marina on the first floor or in the Barrel Back Restaurant on the second floor.

How fast does the Duffy boat go?

Duffy boats are not designed for going fast or going far. They have a top speed of 6mph and are designed so that you can enjoy your surroundings and conversations with no engine noise.

Do you provide life jackets?

Yes, we do, for all ages. Kids 12 and under are required by law to wear a life jacket. We do have life jackets for infants as well. If the infant is in a car seat or baby carrier they are not required to wear one, but we provide one to have on board. All adult life jackets are underneath your seats.

Are pets allowed on the boat?

We apologize but no pets are allowed aboard.

Can I bring my own food and drinks?

Absolutely! We have a refrigerator as well as an ice chest aboard to keep food and drinks cold. There is a market in Walloon Lake Village that offers pre-made food and a full variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

How many passengers are allowed on the boat?

The maximum capacity is 11 people including the captain.

What is the cancellation policy?

We have a strict 24-hour cancellation policy. This is why we require a deposit. Should you cancel same day, we will not refund the deposit.

What about inclement weather?

Should the captain deem the weather to be unsafe at the time of departure, a full refund will be given. Please note, your reservation will not be canceled and refunded for weather unless you have been contacted by the captain. You will be expected to still arrive at the time of your reservation.
